An Editorial Photographer Branding Shoot At Pauls Flower Shop
When my photographer friend Sydney reached out about doing a branding session for her photography business, I was immediately excited. Not only is it always such an honor when another photographer trusts you with their photos, but she also had the most fun vision of a vintage, editorial, and a little bit fashion-inspired branding shoot. From the moment she stepped in front of the camera I could not stop gushing about how stunning she is (seriously… the entire shoot I kept telling her she could absolutely ditch photography and become a model instead).
We chose the eclectic and vintage backdrop of Paul's Flower Shop in the heart of Indianapolis, which ended up being the perfect location for the nostalgic, editorial vibe we were going for. Sydney completely trusted my creative direction throughout the session, which is truly the biggest compliment another photographer can give. That trust allowed us to play, experiment, and lean fully into the editorial feel capturing images that feel timeless, artistic, and full of personality. The result is a branding gallery that feels both elevated and authentic to her as an artist.
This session is such a perfect example of how branding photos don’t have to feel stiff or overly “business-like.” They can be stylish, expressive, and a true reflection of who you are and how you show up in your work.
If you’re a creative looking for editorial branding photos in Indianapolis, this shoot is proof that your branding session can feel just as beautiful and inspiring as the work you create.
